Bjorn Voon

Director | Head Coach
Bjorn’s lifelong dream has been to train people into athletes. Before taking over ownership of Fibre Active, Bjorn received his training in a boutique personal training gym and spent a couple of years teaching Pilates. Hehas also spent time coaching Personal Trainers at the Institute of Fitness and training miners up north. Bjorn’s vision for Fibre Active stems of an understanding of Functional Fitness and machine-less workouts, ultimately leading him to CrossFit. His honesty and passion will infect you with the passion to keep on training, learning and wanting more.

Jessica Chu

Accounts | Coach
As well as coaching, Jess takes care of Fibre Active’s accounts and memberships. Jess is Fibre Active’s official CrossFit Kids coach and she also coaches the beginner’s class every Thursday evening. Working with children and instilling the love for fitness and camaraderie is something she is passionate about. Jess loves to interact with members and organises all of our FibreFam events.

Bruce Dominguez

Coach

Bruce brings over five years of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. He also has a qualification from AWF (Australian Weight-Lifting Federation) as a Level 2 Weight Lifting Coach. Bruce is a huge believer in having fun while you work out and you’ll be sure to hear some great “dad” jokes.

Edwina Bones

Coach
Eddie originally moved to Perth from Canberra to pursue a career in fueld hockey and has been part of the Australian Hockey Team since 2013. Eddie was in the 2016 Olympics! Her passion for fitness and team-building led her to teaching as a CrossFit coach.

Connor Ramsay

Coach

Connor started training CrossFit over 3 years ago to supplement his AFL practice and has never looked back. Connor loves coaching because of the community spirit and seeing how happy people are when they achieve their fitness goals. Connor What keeps Connor coming back to CrossFit is that it translates to being a better human outside the gym, making daily tasks easier.

Roisin Breheny

Coach
Roisin is originally from Ireland and has been doing CrossFit since 2015, following six years of competitive rowing in secondary school and university. Roisin became a CrossFit coach in 2017. What Roisin enjoys most about coaching is getting to see people achieve goals that they never thought they would be able to do. She also loves that CrossFit training can be used in every-day simple situations, whether it be as simple as lifting a box safely from the ground, to participate in fun runs and obstacle courses or even to just keep up with their kids!

Stephen Cass

Coach

Stephen first discovered Functional Fitness in 2014 and become a CrossFit coach in 2017. Stephen loves to train and enjoys the support and camaraderie that comes with CrossFit training. Stephen’s passion for coaching comes from seeing the progress and success that members achieve, and in such a short period of time. Stephen loves to challenge himself and his students, trying to better the class each week.
